Submission specifications for Acoustic panels

Add 5 mm bleed.

To allow leeway for cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm around all edges of your design. Make sure colours, background pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area so as to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting tolerances. You can submit your file with crop marks and printer's marks.

Keep 10 mm safety margin.

Keep all important text and images at least 10 mm away from the edge of the finished size.

Use CMYK as the color mode.

Prepare your files using CMYK as the color mode, not RGB. Use colormode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) for coated papertypes and colormode FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) for uncoated papertypes. If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.

Resolution of at least 150 dpi.

Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 150 dpi.

How many acoustic panels should I order?

• To calculate how many acoustic panels you should order, you need to consider the size of the room. To help you, you can do the following calculation: number of m² of room to be insulated ÷ 4. This calculation will give you a minimum number of m² to order to be sure to insulate your room.
  For example, we recommend 2-3m² panels in a 10m² room, whilst for 80m², 16 to 27m² acoustic panels would be better for a larger space.

What are the acoustic panels made from?

• The acoustic material are made from 90% cotton fibres, recycled from jeans. These long fibres have the ability to absorb sound waves. The basic panel has a cavity between the panel and the wall for an even greater acoustic effect. The premium option panel has an extra layer of acoustic material.
